Hostel style accommodation
If you require an inexpensive longer term accommodation option, we are able to provide basic self catering rooms during the summer months.
It is ideal for students that want to stay in the summer and we work with a variety of companies to offer reasonably priced accommodation for work experience placements or internships in Portsmouth and the surrounding area.
What do we provide ?
• Private standard or en-suite single bedroom (depending on location)
• Use of kitchen
• High speed wifi
• All utility bills are included (internet, gas, water and electric)
• Access to the laundry (any charges for washing and drying are not included in the weekly accommodation charge)
To keep costs as low as possible we don’t provide the following so you will need to bring your own bedding, towels, cooking utensils (including saucepans), cutlery and crockery.
Accommodation is provided at two locations in Portsmouth:
Option 1 – City Centre (standard accommodation in Bateson Hall) – from £ 15.50 per night
This popular city centre location consists of up to 55 comfortable standard rooms spread across four floors. The accommodation comprises of 11 self-contained flats, each with five bedrooms, a shower room, toilet room and a kitchen.
The accommodation is provided on a self-catering basis, and there is a kitchen in each flat.
High speed guest wifi is included.
The minimum stay is 10 nights.
Please note, we do not supply any bedding or self-catering equipment.
Option 2 – City Centre (en-suite accommodation in Harry Law Hall) – from £ 20.00 per night
This busy city centre location (close to Guildhall Square) consists of up to 50 comfortable en-suite rooms, taking up one floor of this building. For every seven bedrooms there is a large shared kitchen.
High speed guest wifi is included.
The minimum stay is 10 nights.
