Day Meetings

The University of Portsmouth has over 150 rooms across its main campus suitable for meetings, courses, workshops, exhibitions and larger conferences. These range from a small flat meeting room for 20 people to large tiered lecture theatres.

All of the facilities are available at Easter, June to September and weekends and evenings all year round. There is a lower level of availability midweek from September to June.

Each room has easy to use state of the art audio-visual equipment including a PC (with internet connectivity), DVD player and visualiser. All rooms have the ability to plug in your own laptop and lecture theatres have surround sound, lectern and lapel microphones.

All spaces are fully accessible for people with physical disabilities and the majority of rooms also have hearing loops fitted.

We offer varied and flexible catering options to meet your needs and the conference team will go through the range of choices available. Catering is usually served in one of the central networking areas where we provide space for your registration desk, sponsors and exhibitors.
